The Mkeka dried palm baskets have been handmade (with our brand logo nestled on the inside of each bag) by our artisan partner team in Tsavo Kenya.
 
A wonderfully sized basket bag to grab on your way out, to keep your daily accessories, snacks, light shopping, picnics, beach trips, farmers markets and more!
 
The bag holds a striking circiular shape, along with its soft leather handles for transporting.  A minimal, yet striking accessory for the warmer months.
 
IMPACT:

Our dried palm basket bags are handwoven by a women's collective based in a wildlife sanctuary in the Tsavo region of Kenya  which historically had been reliant on farming - a practice that has become more unreliable due to the scarcity of rain.
 
Utilising the power of handicrafts and old age weaving techniques, our artisan partner team, through continuous trade, enable the wonderful women artisans who make our baskets, to enhance the fabric of their setting, improving their livelihood for their families and their overall community.
